Hi again, Today it was a little hard to find information for my Topic of the Teen Life Project. In fact, I was going to write about an article in Spanish but the Teen Life project is in English so I choose one in English so everyone understands. Lung cancer I read at BBC that said that on Iraq eleven civilians and one police were killed by a car bomb at the city of Ramadi. The explosion took place near a police station but only one police end dead. While this occurred the minister was trying to get a man who killed 14 police men on Friday. The US army had killed several main terrorist who were attacking their helicopters near the town of Taji, north of Iraq’s capital, Baghdad. The US army had killed 28 terrorist lung cancerat the north of Baghdad and the terrorist had had destroyed 8 helicopters in the last 6 weeks. I think these things occur everyday on Iraq and it looks that there war never end. If I lived on Iraq I will disappear of that country. Another attack has been on Falluja, west of the Iraq’s capital. A car bomb had exploded on a wedding of an official. Five people were killed and ten were injured. The injured were guest of the wedding. Fortunately the officer and his wife were saved but many guest that didn’t do anything to die were killed and injured. The officers of Iraq are afraid because lately the terrorists have killed a lot. The primer minister of Iraq said that he will put security to stop these attacks to the officers. And the ones who are captured will receive a bigger punishment. The officers who are captures by the terrorist are decapitated because they have found many of their bodies with no head. He promised that he will chase them. Well I think that this is very sad to suspend your wedding because a terrorist attack but fortunately the couple was safe but many guest died. That is very sad and I am with the Minister that they need to chase them because these cases should not present. I hope that they get the responsible of these things and they are carried to jail.

On spring of 2004 a man went to the airport to get his airplane to his job. A strange thing happened and some men guided him to another airplane. Finally he get to another city were he was kidnapped. Her wife waits 18 months before calling the police and then the police start an investigation. Finally the man is founded but he is dead, but the responsible are captured. I feel sad about this because all the time that woman wait and now he is dead. I think they should punish them with many years of jail. And that entire family will suffer a lot because the children, parents and many familiars that need her help and unfortunately he died.

Hi people today I went reading the Google News and I saw this new about Panama, terrorism, punishments, and drugs. Hi people, today I found this interesting article about Terrorism, my TLP subject. The article was about nine men that were arrested because they were planning a terrorist attacks on England. According to the police they were going to kidnap an England soldier to assassinate him and put the images of the assassination at Internet. These situations are very common around the world but according to the article this will be the first one happening on England. For the police to get this assassins are very hard so most time they can’t find them, neither the soldier nor person kidnapped. In this case the nine men were founded at Birmingham. These men were captured thanks to a group of espionage and the police of the city. They get these men by 6 months of private investigation. Its not a joke is a real situation happening in the world. Many people dying in their daily job and is not a job like military, are jobs that have nothing to see with weapons, death or anything like that. Last year at Spain, 1.338 people died in their job or going to their job. 992 people died in their job and 372 died going or getting back from job. On the 16 of January a man who was the rider of a bus was killed by his bus. People had asked that they investigate this situation because it’s not normal that a man who rides a bus is killed by going up on him. They ask authorities to investigate because someone took the bus and killed him. Maybe was an accident by him but many of these situations occurring everyday but sometimes people have luck and they continue with life. As it looks it was another worker who didn’t see him and he passed the machine over him. In conclusion, I think people should always be careful and always think before they act.

Hi again people. Yesterday I went with some friends to the theater. I went to see ( Blood Diamond). The movie was very good and I had a good time with my friends. But after the movie, I realized what the movie was lung cancer about. Then I saw and it was a coincidence that the movie was about terrorism and my subject of the TLP lung cancer project is also about it. Well the movie is about a war on Sierra Leona (Africa). So there is a group of people that is against the government. Those people take out kids and men to work for them. They put the kids to use weapons and the men to lung cancer work at searching diamond. The kids at first were scared but then they give them lung cancer drugs. Later when they saw their parents, they were other people they want to kill their parents and that part was sad because they show how the kids talk very hard to their parents. Then the movie focuses on a man that finds a big diamond so he put it in between his feet fingers. So later he ask to go to the bathroom and then a man check him up if he has a diamond but he doesn’t find it. He goes to the bathroom and he buried it up. Then he gets back to work and the government arrives so everyone escapes. Finally he gets to jail but a man that knows about the diamond gets him out. After they went to a complete journey to find the diamond and many people died. I won’t tell you the end because I really recommend it to see it. Find out who dies and who gets the diamond. The move is based on real events because at the end of the movie it says, that many kids do join the war as soldiers, also says how many people die yearly because of this situation of the transport of diamond. At the end of the movie it also shows many people with posters that say “Diamonds equals people dying”. And it’s the sadly truth.


Well, I think this is a very cool movie that shows the real situation. This was a very cool form to give information and learn about my topic. I will try to keep learning by these methods which are very good. I hope that I could use this to make my project. Because as well that I enjoyed the movie the other people will enjoy my project. I think must of you remember that, were the trains were exploded by a bomb and many people died. That day I was getting out of my house and suddenly I saw the news. I get nervous because my Uncle and my grandparents live on Madrid. I was more scared about my uncle because he usually takes trains or buses to get to his job. Well, finally I went to school and that day I get late because I stayed at my house seeing the news. I learned that there can be many terrorism attacks in many ways and that always they want to kill the innocents. Really, I knew about this new but when it happened I don’t focus on why, how, and who. Now that I read the new I see that they haven’t get the responsible of this. But they have 29 men that are accused to be the responsible. Tomorrow the 15 of February they will go on trial and they will put them inside a room with a glass and many judges surrounding them. I hope they found out which is the real responsible and take him to jail. I also want to investigate which will be the punishment for the men; I guess it would be hard. But according to the Spanish law, the maximum of years you could be on jail is 40. I think they should send him to a high security jail and keep them there more than 40 years. Many of the people that are accused with already many years of jail that means they are not new on this things.

I think people make this disaster is totally crazy and some of them is a pride for the religion but they make suffer many people. I also think it would be a difficult decision of the judge to choose the correct man. But I am sure that if the one who did it is not arrested, sometime at his life will be punished. I am really sad about this terrorist attack and I hope every day they are less terrorist attacks. Another thing that is very sad is the twin towers attack which hundreds of people died. This are all attacks from the terrorist all around the world that happens every day but in some places are worst than others.

In conclusion, I want to now more the major terrorist attacks and also I want to expand my subject to related drugs with terrorism. Here in Colombia is related and because those terrorist makes drugs all the Colombian people are getting a bad image because of some people. Like in movies were whenever Colombia appears it is related with drugs. I hope some day these terrorists become citizen and that Colombia improves their image.

In Colombia there is a group of people against the government called “guerrilla”. By this program many terrorist has become normal citizen and that is a great step to transform Colombia in to a safe place. Another problem related with terrorism is kids on the “guerrilla”. On the T.V there are many commercials that appear a kid totally covered with a uniform and he is in a combat. And then he gets to a lake and there are kids playing in it. He stays still looking at the kids and suddenly a man hits him with a punch so he focuses on the combat. Other commercial appears a pair of hand writing in a computer, another hands getting crops, another ones cooking and at the end it asks “ and your hands what are doing with the country?”. Finally it appears a man shooting a weapon against the Colombian Army. This commercial are very good because it makes you think and especially if you are terrorist. Effects of terrorism Another problem Colombia faces is the effects of terrorism. Some people that live on towns that are near mountains or were terrorist are, are constantly attacked. Many times people need to move from their houses because terrorists ask for them. And If you resist you will be probably killed. But don’t think like in Cartagena we face does problems. Cartagena has none or very few attacks of terrorists, that’s why we say its safe.

What is the climate like in your place? (Mr. Fisher's class) Well, here at Cartagena the climate is hot it changes from 30ºC to 37ºC. The city is wet but hot, on November they are constant rains.
What are the dangers in your community?(Mr. Fishers class) Cartagena is a safe place but that doesn’t mean is a perfect city. Some of the dangers Cartagena face is crime, because Cartagena suffers of poverty those people don’t have the money to make a living so they start killing and stealing. Another problem Cartagena and mainly Colombia suffers is terrorism. In Colombia there is a group of terrorist called “guerrilla”. They kill many people and attack many cities by putting bombs and other things that kill people.
What do you do to help keep your community clean? (Mr. Fishers Class)
Every house deposits a bag with trash outside of each house and everyday at a certain hour a truck passes and get it. But a bad thing about our city is that people throw too much trash to the street because they are lazy and don’t look for a trash can.

Well here at Cartagena they are many doctors and many good ones. We have an hospital located in front of the beach and is very good with good doctors.

For transportation we use cars, buses, many motocycles and right now at the city theyare constructing road for a special bus they will put on the city. The buses will called “TransCaribe”. “Trans” are the names of the buses here at Colombia. And “Caribe” is means Caribean that is were we are located.

What I most like of the community is that I can feel free to walk around the city and there are small probabilities to be robbed. Also if I walk around the city I will stop at many of my friends’ house and all of them near by.

No, totally not. They are some but not much, still the crimes they do are very strange and genius. Like most of them occur on houses that enters a strange man and they throw you a substance that makes you obey anything they say so they go with you to the bank and they take out the money.
Is there alot of traffic where you live? (josh03.learnerblogs.org//Mr.Fisher's class) Well, sometimes but is not common like now that they are some street that are being repair, traffic is being sometimes heavy but if there is anything irregular on the city, the traffic is fluid. The zone were traffic gets heavy is at “Centro” which is were Bocagrande unites with the rest of the city and because Bocagrande is the popular part of the city so is were people go.

Hi, my name is Sergio J. and I study in Colegio Jorge Washington. The school is located on Cartagena, Colombia on Bocagrande by the beach. Having the school in front of the beach is an advantage because we could do activities on the beach, like today 15 of January on science class we went to the beach to do an activity with the sand. Now, I am going to tell what are my hobbits and the places I usually go. Some places I like to go is like Campito 2010 which is an artificial mini soccer court. I play there with my friends and is very cool. In Cartagena this is the only artificial court. I also like to play at Cartagena Club which has a concrete court and there you play against many people. Sometimes I also hang out and eat there. I go many times to Mc Donalds as I did today.

Now I am going to talk about the Teen Life Project and my opinion. Well, I think this is a good project because you feel kind of important and you know other people are doing this project. It would be cool to contact them and know about them and their ideas.

Going again back to me, I am interested in terrorism. Terrorism is a important issue in the world. It affects many families that are killed daily. Contamination is also a big problem specially in Mexico and it affects the lungs of all the people who breath it. In conclusion, I hope this project is fun and makes me learn many things.

Hi, today I will talk about what is the BEST sport in the world for me. I like all of it. I like to play it, I like to see it, I like to be a fan and everything related with soccer. I haved played soccer since first grade but at that age I was one of the bad ones of the grade. Same was at second grade grade but I was a little better. Then on third grade I stayed kind of equal. But since second grade I liked to see it and especially seeing the best soccer of all, seeing REAL MADRID. I have always admirate Raul " The Angel of Madrid". For me he is a good example of a captain and a soccer player. Then going back to "my" soccer, on 4th grade I get better. Then by the end of 4th grade I change a lot, I thinked different about soccer, now it was not only to have fun. Now it was to get each day lung cancer better and be a good player. Many people told me that I was capable to enter the team but that on the trials I didnt put effort. I continued training and the team was going to La Guajira but the werent enough so they called me to go and so I went. The first match I only played the last minutes and I didnt play on the posicion I was so I played bad. On the second match I feeled bad because I had throwed up but I started playing. I played very good, although I was sick that was my best match. In the half time some people congratulated me but on the second half I played bad, I dont know why but I did. The last match I didnt wanted to play it and finally I didnt play.

The trip ended and we went back to Cartagena. After the tournament I started training with the soccer team. Some tournaments passed and finally 6th grade ended. Now in 7th grade I enter the trials and I enter the team. Up to today I have played good and I think am giving my best. Something that occured me lately is that I was playing a match, I was playing very good and then a cut on a finger let me out of the game. The next day we had a final between 8 grade and 7 grade. I couldnt play, we lost by 1 goal, all 7th grade was furious. Me too because I could play all the matches of the tournament and now that was the final I couldnt play. Well and that was not all, that same day was another match but of an improtant tournament and also I couldnt go.

Another thing I like is Real Madrid were my favorites soccer players are. Reyes, Raul, Sergio Ramos which are all from Spain as me and are on Real Madrid, the team I like. Well I hope you liked my post and also I hope you enjoy soccer as you play it or see it.

Today I will talk about the soccer team of middle school of boys. The trials to enter the team were maked on the beggining of Agust. All thhe boys that entered the team last year were sure on the team and was right because the coach put us to play less than the new ones. But we practically knew that we were going to enter and was correct. Many people are angry with the coach because he put us to run and do excercises that has something to do with running, jogging, abdominals and others. Some people say that he should put us less to run and more soccer.

Now we are on lung cancer Copa Moya and today Saturday 28 of October the whole team was surprise. At 9:00 A.m we lung cancer went to the school to play a match against Real Cartagena school but the teachers were playing ( including Mr. Hide). Minutes passed and the other team didnt arrived and it was 10:00 A.m and the team didnt arrive. So the coach told us that for Copa Moya he was going to divide the group into A team and B team lung cancer so we play against each other. I was on the A team and I started playing but I feeled bad and the coach get me out on the second half. But finally the A team won 1 to 0.

After the match the coach told that the A team could go but the B team had match after the one that La Salle was playing. I havent know how they ended and who they play against. Many teams were starting to arrive. The bad thing of the divide of the teams is that each team now has less people to change. So when you are tired and there is no more people to change that will be bad.

This years Binationals will be at Barranquilla but I dont know if there will be Barranquilla
games, I guess not. Last year Binationals were at Medellin but the soccer team couldnt go neither to Barranquilla. But at least we went to Albania Games, they are at El Cerrejon were a coal mine is. Matchs at 3 to 5 o'clock were very hot but at night there were cold. Also Cartagena Games that were here at Cojowa but those days they were heavy rains so the soccer field was very, very dirty but still they played like that. At Cartagena games you keep a child from La Guajira and on Albania you stay at someones house. I hope this year we could go to Binationals but I think we will.

Well I hope the team continue playing and a recommandation for the ones that arent titulars, never give up and dont think only because you dont play, it means you will never play. Last year I didnt enter the team at first but then I did my effort and they werent enough people to go to Albania games so they call me to go and after that I became titular.

While I do all this things I was also eating chocolate and the room was very cold so the day was becaming perfect. Now I was so calm and relax that after 10 minutes I was sleeping. When I waked up It was 2:00 and I eat lunch and get back to sleep. I sleep around for 2 hours and 40 minutes. At that time a hear a voice and was my mom that was waking me up.

Finally I get out of my house and a car crashed near so their was traffic. I was furious because we were getting late.

Finally, I arrived 10 minutes late but fortunately they havent start they were making shots and waiting for others to come. At a moment I thinked we were not going to play but suddenly 5 people came in a group and we start playing. The other team start playing and they make goal soon . After few minutes we maked a goal and tied the game. Pedro was in my team and he was the one who maked the goal. Normally I dont make much goals because I am defense but sometimes I go with the forwards and participate in the goal. But sometimes when we dont make it so I have to go back to the defense quickly to prevent a goal. In this ocasion I maked the pass to Pedro but this time I could go back to the defense calmly. We maked many of our shots hit the posts. I said to the whole team to help in defense because the other team was attacking too much and in any moment they could make a goal. And I was right, a goal entered. I was very angry at my teammates because I warned them. Soon they make us another goal and the match was 3-1. By that time I was very angry at my teammates and I runover all the place and in one of those I prevent a goal and run over with the forwards and make another pass to Pedro but the ball hit the post.

That morning I woke up with many energy but by that time I was very tired. Now I couldnt help the forwards so I stay only on the defense. Fabio ( another friend on my team) make a goal with a pass of Pedro and that goal helped all the team because we now had the opportunity to tie or win the game. Now I was getting again energy because I drinked water and I start helping the forwards. In one of those Fabio gave me the ball in a corner and make a good goal of volley.
We were playing much better than the other team and we were animated. The game was tied 3 to 3. Enrique who was the keeper of the other team maked really good saves so he keep the match tied.

Soon me and the other defenses were yelling." Help us! Come down!"
All the other team was attacking and we defending but then one defense of our team pass the ball to Pedro fastly and they were not defense so he could make the goal easily. The other team was starting to make us fouls and we were starting to get angry.
" Hey! Stop doing fouls dont get angry!" Pedro yelled to the other team.
"No! You are cheating and also doing fouls". Juan Felipe responded.
Fouls continued and things were getting worse.

The match was 4 to 3 and we were playing better. In one of my helps to the forwards Juan Felipe make a hard foul. I get really angry because it seemed he wasnt going for the ball.
"Hey! Dont make fouls because I will make hard ones too." I told him.
" Ok do them". Juan Felipe responded.
Then when Juan Felipe was attacking I make a hard tackle but wasnt foul but he get angry.
" It was not foul" I told him.
" Ok, whatever you say. Juan Felipe yelled.
After that there were many plays like that one that we discuss. But there was one he made me that he told me
" I will not say sorry".
Ok, but nobody asked you for it". I responded.
During this many goals had passed but we were still winning but was 7 to 5. They were 10 minutes to the match end and everytime was getting better but people doing fouls more and more.

On one play that I recovered the ball and Juan Felipe maked me a foul that was totally on purpose. In this was I get really angry and yelled to him,
"What is your problem!!!". He stay quiet and continue playing. Also when he had the ball I make him a foul that was on purpose. Both get angry and we both start pushing us and were almost fighting. We were saying us bad words but finally a friend stopped us and the match ended. We keep quiet for a moment then we start analizing who had make the first fouls but finally we said sorry and we forgot all.

On summer of 2004 me and my family decide to go to Spain. The trip was about 11 hours because it was from Cartagena to Bogota and to Madrid. In present day my father goes on an ainrline Airmadrid and goes directly to Madrid so is about 10 hours. At first I was very excited because I didn’t remenber Madrid and I want to learn of it more than the other times I go. My father told me that we were going to Santiago Bernabeu ( Real Madrid stadium) and also to the biggest zoo at Madrid. My grand father is member of the Atletico de Madrid club so I was going to their stadium. After many hours of sleeping and boring moments we arrived to Madrid and it looked huge. lung cancer

The airport we arrived is called Barajas, it is the principal airport of Madrid. I get shocked when we took the taxi to my grand fathers house lung cancer , the cost of it was 30 Euros that is around 90.000 Pesos. Then we arrived at my lung cancer Grand fathers house and instantly I learn the street and the number of the house. The next day my grandpa told me to go with him to the Atletico de Madrid stadium and it was very cool. That day I went with my grandpa to some places. The next day my father was doing some work and my mother told me to go with her to buy some things and to learn about the city. We went and buy some things and by the way we went to cool museums. My father take me to a museum that had many historic and pre-historic things. That same day I went to the Real Madrid stadium, It was very cool the entrance to the stadium is great! The other day we visit some cool places around the center of the city. Then went to Segovia which a town near Madrid which is very cool and has many history, like the aqueduct which passes for most of the town. A cool thing we do in the trip to Segovia was that we pass through a mountain and they were fountains of fresh water and the were very, very cold.
Also we went on the boundary between Portugal and spain but we couldn’t pass because we don’t had Visa. After all the trip to Madrid was great I hope we repeat it and we have even more fun.

The last weekend was the worst of all that I remember. Monday was no school so my family and me decided to go somewhere near the city. 1- We where going either to Sincelejo, Barranquilla, or Baru. Finally we went to Baru. Well, It was the nearest one and probbaly the best one for a normal holiday 2- The day seemed hot, boring and, rainy. I was enthusiastic to have a good time but nothing was well.3- We saw people arriving by foot, by car and by boat. When their is too much people it is boring because you cant dive well. 4- They were people fighting, people yelling, and other disrupting. So sometimes you like to be relax at the beach but that day was impossible. 5-Under lung cancer the surface water,I found many trash. 6- Whenever a crab bites me, I wash the cut fast. Although the cut was not so deep but it may be infected. 7- Yes, after all it was a bad day- No, it was not a lung cancer good day. 9- Although there where many friends, it was not fun. Well in conclusion I didn't have a good day. I wish not to have any more holiday similar to these. This writing make my think about also lung cancer the 31 of December of 2005, where I feel very bad and I hope it don't repeats.

On this Sunday one of this 2 participants will be eliminated, the one of the right is safe by wining the challenge yesterday.



Today I will talk about a program I and some people of my class like. It is called Desafio 2006 and you can see It on Caracol. It starts aroud 8:45 P.m. The program is about 18 people (6 rich, 6 medium class and 6 poor). The purpuse of the program is to survive ands stay on the island. Their is 3 different beaches. The worst one is down beach, they need to gather all the things they need and they sleep at a cave. The normal one is called middle beach and they have a dog that helps them to gather their food. The name of the dog is Firulay. He is a excellent hunter and to get food with him is easy. They slept at hammocks which are good and thats why is middle beach. Then the last beach is very good, it is called high beach. They have beds, they have people who make delicious food, they have showers and many comfort things.

Every week they make challenges, and with this challenges they obtain things. The first challenge of the week is the beach challenge. They compete and in the order they complete the challenge, the same way they go to each beach for 1 week. The second challenge of the week is the award and punish challenge. They compete and same thing, the same order they finish the challenge, the same order they get. One gets a award and they are very cool ones, a message from family. A trip to another city near, a day of shopping, many surprises like one time the poor won and they get laptops, cameras, Xboxs 360 and others. The group that finish second they dont get lung cancer anything not award neither punish. And the last group gets punish, one time they covered lung cancer them with many types of sauces and frogs. Other they dig a hole on the ground and they need to stay there for hours. In this challenges they choose one person from each team to compete. The other challenge is the segurity challenge, lung cancer all the group compete and the first 2 groups to end, no one of that 2 group can leave. The last one is the individual challenge, the person of the last group to end first cant be eliminated. Then on sunday between each one of that group they vote for what they think that who need to leave, the first group that ended has the right to save someone and the person who is nt saved and has the most votes, it leaves.

Then after some people eliminated they make a fusion where the middle everything was eliminated. The rich people where the ones that had to go to another group. Then it was only high beach and low beach. And only award or punish, eliminated or saved. After more eliminated the came to the last fusion, where their is only 1 group and all the challenges where individual. The first one is the millonary challenge, the one who wins get 10, 15, 20 millions. Then the rest of the week is challenge to be saved the one that dont win anything is the eliminated.
